Brett McMickell

Dr. McMickell is currently the Senior Technologist for Kubota North America where he leads the technology roadmap and overall technology portfolio. In this role, Dr. McMickell coordinates closely on all aspects of technology development and investment. He was previously the CEO of AgJunction until its acquisition by Kubota in 2021. Prior to joining the AgJunction team, Dr. McMickell held a variety of leadership positions at Honeywell Aerospace including serving as the Senior Director of Engineering in charge of Actuation Systems. Dr. McMickell has a passion for companies using technology to positively impact global challenges. He has considerable experience helping companies with the full cycle of technology development and product lifecycle management. He also has experience working in a wide range of markets including advanced avionics, autonomy, industrial controls, precision agriculture, and satellite systems.
