AUTONOMOUS 2026
Shubham Shrivastava
Head of AI
KODIAK AI
Shubham leads the AI organization at Kodiak, directing research and deployment across foundation models, vision-language-action systems, and multimodal perception that fuses camera, lidar, and radar into unified 3D scene understanding. He operationalized Kodiak’s end-to-end AI flywheel, so every mile driven sharpens perception with minimal engineering overhead. This work powers the world’s first 24/7 driverless freight fleet, hauling paying customer freight without a safety driver on board. His research has appeared at CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICRA, and IROS, and he holds over 25 patents in computer vision and AI. He previously led perception at Ford’s autonomous vehicle program and holds a graduate degree in Computer Science with an AI specialization from Stanford.
